Im März 2010 hat sich der Verein PolkaBeats gegründet. Der Verein unterstützt die Vorbereitungen und Organisation des Musikfestivals PolkaBeats. Er initiiert und befördert Aktivitäten rund um die Polka, organisiert Veranstaltungen, Workshops und Tagungen. Er hilft bei der Suche nach Sponsoren und akquiriert Fördermittel für die Umsetzung verschiedener Teilprojekte. Nicht zuletzt ist er ein Anlaufpunkt für alle Freunde der Polka und ist in diesem Sinne für Anregungen und Ideen offen.
Zwecke des Vereins sind die Förderung von Kunst und Kultur, von Bildung und Erziehung zur Vermittlung einer weltoffenen internationalen Gesinnung, der Toleranz auf allen Gebieten des gesellschaftlichen Zusammenlebens sowie des Völkerverständigungsgedankens durch die ideelle und finanzielle Unterstützung von Projekten und Maßnahmen, die sich der Pflege und Weiter entwicklung des kulturellen Erbes und der Tradition rund um die Kulturmarke Polka widmen.
PolkaBeats e. V. – The Association on the Festival
The association supports preparations and the organisation of the PolkaBeats festival. It initiates and promotes polka-related activities and organises events, workshops and conventions. It helps find sponsors and obtains funding for the implementation of various sub-projects. Last but not least, it serves as a point of contact for all friends of polka and is open for suggestions and ideas in this vein.
Objectives of the association include promoting art, culture and education to impart a cosmopolitan, international attitude with tolerance in all aspects of social interaction.
Gabi Grube is the chairperson of the association.
Stowarzyszenie wspierające festiwal
Stowarzyszenie wspiera przygotowania i organizację festiwalu muzycznego PolkaBeats. Inicjuje ono i wspiera aktywności związane z polką, organizuje imprezy, warsztaty i konferencje. Pomaga szukać sponsorów i pozyskuje środki na realizację rozmaitych projektów częściowych. I co równie istotne, stanowi motor napędowy dla wszystkich przyjaciół polki i w tym znaczeniu jest ono otwarte na nowe bodźcie i pomysły.
Celem stowarzyszenia jest wspieranie sztuki i kultury, od kształcenia i wychowywania, aż po rozpowszechnianie postawy międzynarodowej otwartości na świat oraz tolerancji we wszystkich obszarach życia społecznego.
